Documentation and Compliance with Ghana laws and Bank of Ghana regulations have to be fulfilled to activate payment services for amounts greater than GHS100. Please see below the list of documents required before a business can start accepting payment with Pocketi.
List of Documents
1. Proof of business registration (Use any one of these documents)
- Registration Document and Certificates
- Any district, municipal, or recognised authority’s certificate or permit.
- Utility Bill (maximum 2 months old) – for example Water Bill, Electricity Bill etc – Must be in the name of the business
2. National Identification Card
3. Other documents (such as website, NGO registration etc)
